Aaron Bassham is a All Surface Racing team driver and Diagnostic Imaging Service Engineer for Desert Technology Systems Inc, living in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He enjoys his time away from work racing a modified Subaru Impreza WRX STI throughout CA, NV and AZ. Racing has always been a passion for Aaron. After many years of hard work and dedication he has the means to compete monthly in the Subaru Challenge Series, with the support of the ASR Team and Sponsors.
A concussion is serious and sometimes scary injury to sustain. With different levels of severity, all concussions damage the brain to some extent. You don't have to lose consciousness to sustain a mild or severe traumatic brain injury "TBI."
Aaron has sustained several concussions throughout his 25 year life from various sports to outdoor activities such as off-roading, BMX and Parkour. With the most recent severe head injury in July 2017 diagnosing him with TBI. He is out to prove that with proper treatment, diet and exercise, performing optimally in high stress and demanding environments is still possible for those who have sustained head injurys.
With the help of Rebecca Bassham BS, RT, BCN, QEEG-T Double Board Certified Neuro Physiologist Director of Neuroscience at Pure Recovery providing neurofeedback training. She facilitates groups with life and wellness coaching to include brain fitness strategies, nutrition, exercise, goal setting, mindfulness, stress management, and time management for a holistic, alternative approach to improve cognitive function.
